EUCALYPTUS RADIATA
Anti-viral, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, good immune stimulant, decongestant. It has a pleasing fresh, crisp, clean, lemony fragrance.
EUCALYPTUS SMITHII
Expectorant, decongestant, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. It has a fresh, camphoraceous and slightly woody smell.
EUCALYPTUS DIVES
Anti-bacterial, anti-infectious, anti-viral, anti-fungal, mucolytic. This species has 40-50% ketone piperitone and is not suitable for pregnant woman and diabetics. Due to the pervasiveness of the ketones, it is highly penetrating and therefore very effective, however one must make sure that the oil is diluted with a carrier oil (1 drop on 1tsp carrier oil).
Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree)
Anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-septic. Tea tree has a very fine feathery leaf. It is used topically in low concentrations due to the high concentration of terpinen-4-ol which is a monoterpenol. It has a herbaceous, strong camphoraceous aroma.
