該網站為捷克外人投資促進局(CzechInvest)於1992年設立，為捷克貿工部轄下負責外人直接投資單一窗口，協助外國投資者選擇適當投資地點，擔任投資者與政府行政機關間之溝通媒介及受理投資獎勵之申請。為因應加入歐盟及日益嚴峻的全球產業競爭，捷克政府於2003年4月決定由CzechInvest裁併貿工部下另兩個單位：The Business Development Agency及CzechIndustry，使CzechInvest之任務由原先單純之吸引外人投資轉而為兼負協助中小企業及加強產業競爭之重責。

目前CzechInvest共計協助達成超過300件投資案件，投資額達100億歐元，同時在捷克境內創造7萬8,000個工作機會。為了服務具投資潛力之外商，CzechInvest在英國、法國、德國、比利時、美國（芝加哥及加洲矽谷）、日本及香港等地設有八個海外辦事處。
